When the app is opened the loading screen appears...

At this point you can press the Help button for how to

                                change the theme color.

Every screen will have its own help button specific for that screen.

The background color of the app can be changed to any color you                                    want and the text color can be either black or white.

Once saved, the theme color will appear every time the app is                                         opened unless it is changed again.

                                       The Main Screen

You will see a View Panel which shows the phone's camera                                                view and a number of buttons.

Information: In general, buttons colored green are activated,                                              that is, can be used at this stage. Buttons colored white are                                              currently disabled. Buttons colored red (labeled "Return") need                                            to be pressed before another function can be chosen.

The view in the View Panel can be expanded by tapping the                                            upper half of the panel and contracted back to its original size                                          by tapping the lower half of the panel.

                                        Capturing the View

                                        Pressing the Sample button will

result in the appearance of a square

on the View Panel shown by its four

                                        yellow corners.

The position of this square can be moved by dragging it to any

part of the View Panel. The image in the yellow-cornered area will

appear in the small Sample Panel on the right.

By choosing "point" instead of "area" a yellow point will appear in the

View Panel to give a finer choice of color sampling.

Sometimes the color background can make the yellow square or point

difficult to see. By pressing "Change Marker" you can change the

yellow markers to red.

Once the Sample button is pressed its text becomes "Resample" and

it can be pressed again to see another view in the View Panel.

Saving Colors

There are four color sample buttons, labeled Target color, Color 1,

Color 2 and Color 3.  Pressing the Save color button will calculate

the average pixel color in the Sample Panel and display it in one of

the Color Display Panels.

The Target/Color panel is chosen by tapping on its name or on its

color panel before pressing the Save color button.

The Adjust colors Button

This button is only activated (shown green) when a color has been

saved.

Pressing the button will bring up the Adjust color screen.

Choose the Object(Target) color/Color 1,2,3 for change or

modification by tapping on it.

Colors can be modified by using the appropriate slider or chosen

directly by using the color picker.

The Analyze Colors Button

This button is only activated (shown green) when a color has been

saved.

Colors can be analyzed into their cyan, magenta, yellow, black (shown

as K) and white components.

In this cmyk mode the colors can be expressed in cmyk units (each

color component can be 0 -100 units) or as a percentage of each

component's contribution to the resulting color.

If rgb is chosen the colors will appear as their red, green and blue

components in units 0 - 255.

The Print Mix Button

The app will calculate the percentage mixture required by each of

the colors 1/2/3 to produce the target color.

Colors can be excluded from the calculation by tapping their green "X"

which will then become a red "R".

Colors can be re-included by tapping again on the red "R" (which will

again become a green "X").

The percentage "fit" and the amount of white used will also be

shown.

Note that the percentage fit will show how close this mixture is to the

original target color.

This can also be seen visually by comparing the target color with

the color resulting from the mixture.
